A legally water-tight tenancy agreement is vital. Our agreement is written in plain English and covers all aspects. We recommend a professional inventory be drawn up to avoid disputes at the completion of the tenancy. Rents received are paid across promptly, with at least two payment runs each week. All our offices are registered with an approved deposit protection scheme and we will ensure that deposit funds are collected and handled in compliance with the law.
If you opt for our fully managed service, then we will visit the property on an agreed timetable to check it is being kept in good order and there are no unreported maintenance issues. Rest assured that all of the contractors who we instruct on your behalf to carry out work will have the correct trade accreditations and insurance in place.
We believe you have the right to demand a swift, efficient and courteous service at all times. We will deal with any concerns promptly, effectively and in a positive manner. Should there ever be an occasion when you are not entirely happy with our service then we have a complaints procedure available from any Ellis & Co office.
